Absolutely beautiful property. WiFi was excellent considering no cell service - no issues with connecting/running multiple devices/streaming on several devices. Comfortable and open. We were thrilled with the front porch - it rained our first night and sitting on the porch was magical. Hosts were thorough with directions and easy to contact! We would definitely recommend and book again.

The house at the cabin was incredibly inviting from the moment we arrived to the time we departed. Upon arrival, the cozy charm of the wooden exterior and the warm glow from the windows immediately made us feel at home. Inside, the rustic decor, soft furnishings, and crackling fireplace created a relaxing and peaceful atmosphere. Throughout our stay, the house provided the perfect blend of comfort and tranquility — a place where we could unwind, connect, and enjoy the beauty of nature. Even as we packed up to leave, the comforting ambiance of the cabin lingered, making it hard to say goodbye. Our host was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. From the moment we booked the cabin, they were incredibly helpful and responsive, providing clear instructions and thoughtful recommendations for local activities. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a warm note and a few special touches that made us feel right at home. Hope to visit again. Thank you for our beautiful experience.

Falling Leaf Retreat has everything you need to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing getaway! Matthew & Diana are kind, responsive and reliable hosts. We came as a family of 5 and the space was plenty big enough for everyone to have their own space. There were so many little additions that are not listed in the description, such as: TONS of DVD’s and books to choose from, a couple of games, toys for babies/toddlers, lots of spices, a pantry stocked with a variety of cooking & baking dishes, etc. We hope to make it back to the cabin in the future. I highly recommend this beautiful place!

Everything was great! The cabin was easy to locate. Everything was very clean upon arrival. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed. The cabin was very cozy. We loved the property, it was very quiet and the kids were able to play outside. Matthew and Diana were very great hosts. Upon checking in they reached out to make sure everything was up to our standards. We will be back.

Beautiful little cabin in the woods. Peaceful and a great stay over all and just as described. Drive isn’t rough it is just narrow and very curvy and winding. Also, be aware of the wildlife please. There was a bear in the driveway when we pulled in to welcome us!

This was the perfect retreat my wife and I needed! We absolutely loved the cabin and all the natural wood. The location is definitely a mountain retreat, was very peaceful. We arrived well after dark and had no trouble finding it. The directions provided were very helpful. Previous reviews talked about bad internet service. They have updated their service and we had zero issues. We watched a movie every night without any problems. Really enjoyed the hot tub and absolutely loved the woodburning stove! King bed was very comfortable and clean. Matthew and Diana were very responsive and more than willing to help make our stay the best. We had no real negatives. We would recommend people bring some drinking water. They have filtered water via the fridge if not. The mountain well water definitely has an odor to it if you're unfamiliar with it. This is a mountain retreat and not on the mountain, so don't expect a mountain view. But the surroundings were still beautiful.

Second time I’ve been here, had a great time both stays. Wifi was a bit spotty but I understand why, in all fairness it is a retreat. Super great place, will be back in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. It's a cute cabin, cozy, and a nice place to relax after going out & enjoying the surrounding areas. We made great use of the kitchen & enjoyed having the hot tub as a way to wind down, and even though my kids are older we enjoyed playing on the Foosball table. Matthew was also very proactive & responsive in reaching out & making sure everything was ok.
